Get Well Soon Skipper Dave

Dave, our first American Skipper for the last  HTSC race, and the person who goes up the mast of the Rage when needed, had serious accident while going up another boat’s mast. The block or line to the bosuns chair broke, sending him plummeting 25 ft. to the deck. Luckily he only broke his left femur and right arm. It could have been much worse. It will be awhile before he is up and about…and he’s now retired from going up masts (this from the editor who is also his wife!), but we know he will Press On Regardless like his recently acquired award is all about.
