HTSC Spring Regatta

It was a chilly day on the race course, with cold front NNW winds blowing 10-13 knots, but adrenalin kept first time skipper (and first American skipper ever!) Dave Pahl quite warm. Perhaps not true for his crew though! He did a great job, but did manage to get a few of the crew wet during the jibes. Bill Dichter almost ended up being named Splash II but saved himself on the boat’s low side before ending up in the Sea of Abaco.

In the end, the Rage finished 5th over the line and 7th overall after corrected time. There was some really fast competition out there today! Once again, everyone worked well together and had a good time. Just by finishing the race, the Rage may still be in the running for the Boat of the Year Award!
