While racing in yesterday’s HTSC’s Spring Regatta, an Island Marine skiff kept ‘stalking’ the Rage throughout the course. Once the Rage crossed the finished line, the very professional looking photographer in the rental boat asked if the crew could shake out the reef and sail around a bit more. Turns out that ‘pro’ is an understatement, since he is famous Wooden Boat Calendar’s photographer, Benjamin Mendlowitz! Keep an eye out to see if the Abaco Rage gets in the limelight for a month in a future calendar. If I get word that it’s going to happen, I’ll be sure to post it here and on Facebook.
