2014 RTIA Race 3

It was another wild day for the Rage but despite a nasty thunderstorm and a late start, the crew persevered and ended up coming in FIRST on corrected time! Congratulations to all!

Below is Barry’s latest report on the Marsh Harbour to Hope Town race:

Interesting day on the Abaco Rage today. Before the race started we had some squalls and thunderstorms rolled through. 3 of the lightning strikes were close enough that the Rage crew was feeling the tingling and seeing sparks. Racing finally started and after a delay and the Rage was late for the start, but quickly made up time and were first around the 2nd mark and 2nd across the finish line. All in all a great race. (AND THEY FINISHED 1st OVERALL IN THEIR CLASS!…Editor)
