Preparing For ‘Regatta Time In Abaco’

ImageThis news just in from Stafford Patterson:

The Rage is on her way to GTC for race # 1 in Saturday! Capt Randy and Bob (Wahoo) left HT 12:30 today with the Rage (and Andrew Wilhoyte’s “Tanglefoot”) in tow. Rage received a bilge cleaning over the last 2 days – this required removal of ALL of the lead and a powerful wet/dry vacuum! Limber holes are clean, water can freely flow to the bilge pumps now….not that she leaks….And (OMG) we installed a stereo! How non traditional, Mr. Emerson Albury (lead designer/builder) must be turning over in his grave. Stupid us, no one took a picture of all that lead on the dock, or a picture of anything else for that matter. The crew list for the 5 races is fattening up, weather reports look good now that Debby is gone and Fiddle Cay is tomorrow. I’ll be headed Green Turtle way Saturday mornin’ early if anyone wants to go…..

GO RAGE! We’re all rooting for you!
